2016: Vibrant Nyhavn, New Harbour in Danish, is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen, Denmark. Historically, it was a gateway, via a canal, from the sea to Kongens Nytorv (The Kings Square) in the Old Town where fresh fish and cargo were unloaded. The North side of the harbour is sunnier and hosts numerous bars and restaurants. The South side is more residential and houses historic buildings like Charlottenborg Palace.
